Driving TREC clinic April 17th and 18th
In spite of the numerous cancellations caused by the Icelandic volcano’s explosion, the Driven TREC clinic organized by the FITE last weekend benefited from the excellent structures provided by the Fédération Français d’Équitation Equestrian Park. The organizers enjoyed the structure and facilities at their disposal to welcome and train participants coming from Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland. The clinic was led by Thierry Maurouard Assistant Technical Delegate. The program included:
- Development of this discipline within each NETO
- Information designed to future organizers of such events
- Advises to Course Designers for POR and PTV
- Work sheets and judging
Ken Poste, rider specialized in TREC, lent 3 harnesses; 1 with a pony, 1 with a horse and a tandem hitch. The clinic have been held under the authority of Jacques Aguétant backed up by Jean-Bernard Dreyfus as translator.
