The FITE is currently working on the professional diplomas' acknowledgment by the international organization in charge of vocational training: the IGEQ (International Group for Equestrian Qualifications). This project will be under the examination of IGEQ's Bureau and its General Assembly next October, in France.
The president of Vocational Training Commission of FITE, Jacques Aquétant with the National Technique Direction are leading an inventory work over the Diplomas and Accompanying Guide frames of references and over the equivalency convention between Belgian, Canadian (Québec), British, Italian French and Swiss ONTE signed in 1990 (*) and modified in 1995.
As soon as this acknowledgement will be acquired, procedures will be engaged towards the European Union to have the Vocational Training qualifications be enlisted and referenced professionally speaking at the European level.
(*) The equivalency convention, if updated during an international meeting organized June 12th of 2002 in Chalain (France) - approved resolution by ONTE stakeholders, published the same day by FITE - will need, at the timely moment, an enhancement of respective qualifications defined by the aforementioned text.
